2025: THE YEAR OF EXCEEDING KINGDOM GLORY

“Blessed be the God and Father of our LORD Jesus Christ who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.” 1Peter 1:3-5

As saints we are God’s living hope in the last times set apart as special entities through which heaven will demonstrate a kind of power that has been reserved for such an evil age.

I’ve broken this prophetic theme down into 3 key words that will equip us with ALL the necessary knowledge to boldly stand out and achieve the steps to live its reality.

1. EXCEEDING

This means to throw beyond the usual mark, to surpass, to transcend, to excel, to go out, to go beyond a limit set, go past, over stop, stand out, out do, out strip.

2 Peter 1:4 “by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you maybe partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”

Ephesians 3:20 “Now to Him who able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen!”

The year 2025 has been loaded with sufficient grace to enforce any exceeding step, move, attempt, action, goal, plan name it as long as the ultimate goal is about manifesting the kingdom glory of our God and His Christ.

2Corinthians 9:14-15 “And by their prayers for you, who long for you because of the exceeding grace of God in you. Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift.”

2. KINGDOM

God’s original plan for His kingdom to rule and reign on earth through man has never changed regardless of the fall of man. Jesus echoed it again in Matthew 6:9;

“In this manner therefore pray:

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your Name, your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

Revelation 11:15 “then the seventh angel sounded: and there were loud voices in heaven saying, ‘the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever’.”

3. GLORY

Glory is what describes God’s character and nature. It also refers to His presence made visible or manifest. In a sense, God’s glory is the magnificence work, loveliness and grandeur(splendor and impressiveness) of His mercy and perfections.

Glory communicates God’s special presence, as in the pillars of glory and of fire. Exodus 13:21-22 and Exodus 40:34-38

The word Glory in Greek is Doxa. Doxology means magnificence of a splendor or a person. In Hebrew Glory is Kabod. This also help to capture the idea that something is weighty in its significance. Paul speaks of eternal weight of glory in 2Corinthians 4:17-18 “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; while we look not at the things which are seen but at the things which are not seen: For the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”

The true worth of a saint is not defined by material possession. Whereas it is good to have these things because they help us here on earth, (Luke 12:15) “and he said to them; watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions but the true worth of a saint is defined by the weight and measure of glory that abides in them.”

Colossians 1:26-27 “Even the mystery which has been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to His saints: to whom God would make known what is the riches of His glory to this mystery among the gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”

The Psalmist gets overly overwhelmed when he watches man in his true state of appearance, Psalm 8:4-5 “what is man that you are mindful of Him, and the son of (earth born) man that you care for Him! Yet you have made him a little lower than God (or heavenly beings) and you have crowned him with glory and honor.”

Romans 3:23 “All man sinned and fell short of his glory.” Sin is what terminates the glory and honor in man therefore we must accept the price Christ paid for sin and enjoy our redemption in Him.

His glory is in us is;

  • An endorsement of our righteous stand in God
  • A divine seal of our true nature in Christ
  • The proof of His presence fully dwelling in us.
  • What exemplifies saints from ordinary people on earth.
  • What separates boys from men

Points to note in our pursuit for Kingdom glory;

  • The higher the challenges, the greater the glory.
  • Without agony, there’s no glory at full operation.
  • Persecution is the platform set aside to give way for His glory.
  • The heavier the pain, the greater the glory at display.

Exploring accessing into His glory

  1. Salvation. Psalm 106:8, Psalm 62:7 Salvation is a component of God’s divine purpose for the fruitfulness of His people. A good tree bears good fruit and is of good benefit to the owner and those around it. Glory is a result of goodness.
  2. Soul winning. Matthew 28:18-20, Proverbs 11:30 “the fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that wins souls is wise.”
  3. Sacrifice. God is a transactional God. He demands sacrifice and consequently rewards it handsomely Genesis 22, Mark 8:35. He is also a sacrificing God John 3:16
  4. Separation. Exodus 34:28-29, 2Corinthians 6:17, 2Corinthians 7:1
  5. Standing out Romans 12:2
  6. Sensitivity. Romans 8:14
  7. Selflessness. Luke 2:36-37, Romans 15:1-5, 1Corinthians 10:32-33
  8. Sanctification 1Thessalonians 4:3, 1 Thessalonians 523, Hebrews 12:14, 1 Peter 1:15-16, 2Corinthians 3:18
  9. Still small voice Romans 8:14
  10. Service unto the Lord. Psalm 100:2, 1Corinthians 10:31, Colossians 3:23-24, Ephesians 6:7, Romans 12:11

God’s glory is irreplaceable, uncompromisable, unchangeable and unaltered. Let us therefore focus on becoming;

  1. A glorious church…Haggai 2:7-9, Isaiah 2:2-5, Ephesians 5:26-31
  2. A glorious nation…Psalm 33:12
  3. A glorious godly leader/leadership…Jeremiah 23:3-6
